Pen Free Signatures is a signing tool, not an NDA generator or legal-advice service. Check the parties, confidential-information definition, permitted purpose, duration, governing law and signing requirements before sending the PDF.
The workflow supports up to four signers. It can suit a one-way NDA, a mutual NDA requiring both parties, or an agreement involving several named parties when simple electronic signatures are appropriate.

Sending
We email a private link to the intended recipient
Place the signature and signed-date boxes on the correct page, enter the recipient's full name and email address, and use a clear subject so they recognise the request. Review the details and press Send to signer; Pen Free Signatures emails the invitation for you.
The link remains active for up to 30 days. Because access to the signing link gives access to the NDA, recipients should not forward it and senders should double-check the email address.
Signing
The recipient reviews and signs online
The recipient can read the NDA before entering their full name or signing. They choose a drawn or typed signature, accept the electronic-signing statement and complete the document in the browser.
The completed PDF shows the signature and confirmed name, while the certificate records the document reference, original hash, sender, recipient and completion information.
Retention
Download the completed NDA promptly
The sender receives the completed NDA as an email attachment, and the signer can download a copy immediately. Store it in your own secure records.
Completed documents and signing data are deleted from the service seven days after completion. Unsigned requests are deleted after 30 days.

Can both parties sign a mutual NDA?

How long is a signed NDA stored?
The completed NDA and related signing data are retained for seven days. Both parties should download and keep their own copy promptly.
