Add the recipient's full name and email address and write a recognisable subject and message. After you review the details, Pen Free Signatures sends the invitation for you from its verified email service.
The private link expires after 30 days. The recipient needs no account: they review the PDF, confirm their full name and draw or type their signature in the browser.
After signing
The completed document comes back to you
The returned PDF includes the visible signature, confirmed name, completion date and signing certificate. It is attached to your completion email and is available in your workspace for seven days.
Save the completed document in your normal property records promptly. Pen Free Signatures deliberately removes completed documents and signing data after seven days rather than acting as a permanent archive.
Important limits
Some property documents need a different process
The workflow supports up to four simple electronic signers, including an optional issuer signature after the other parties have signed. It does not provide a specialist witnessed-signature process.
Do not use it for property transfers, deeds requiring witnesses, notarisation, regulated identity checks or documents requiring a specialist signature. Obtain professional advice where formalities matter.

Can several tenants sign the same agreement?
Yes. You can add up to four signers, assign fields to each person and see who has completed their part. Witnessed documents may require a specialist process that this service does not provide.
Does this service provide tenancy agreements?
No. You provide the finished PDF. Pen Free Signatures sends it and collects the assigned signatures but does not supply templates or legal advice.
